Introduction of MCUSD #25 Project & Zoning Requests - City Staff
MCUSD #25 is currently undergoing an expansion project for their High School/Washington Elementary Campus.  Based upon the plans submitted, the District is applying for the necessary actions: (a) A conditional use permit to allow a school- currently an existing non-conforming use- in an RD zone; (b) A conditional use permit to allow an accessory structure (modular classroom) on the property; (c) a variance to allow an accessory structure (modular classroom) in the front yard and setback (State Street front yard); and (d) a variance to allow a reduction in the east front yard setback (Hamilton Street) to allow for the addition of a mechanical room.
